Night time on the 3rd day, and the 4th morning....

Last night, I used the DermaRoller very hard on my marks. I decided to do it harder on both sides of my hips so that I could see if there was a dramatic chage in the morning to the healing process.

Above is a picture of me rolling really hard (the skin went very red)

This is the second time that I have rolled, and I found that it hurt a little more than before, but this may be because i rolled at around 12am(midnight) and your skin can feel differently during different times of the day.

This is the BioOil version I use, called Rescue Oil

I then wrapped it in cling film around my stomach so that it covered my hips

Stuck down with surgical tape (you can get this from your chemists for around £2)

I then went to sleep for roughly 9-10 hours and woke up with the cling film in the exact same position held by the surgical tape.

I found that having the rescue oil and the cling film on over night sped up the healing process by nearly 80%. I woke up and there were hardly any red marks, and it did not hurt or feel sore at all.
I may do this more often in the future as it didn't hurt as much (because i was asleep) and the healing process seems to be much quicker. (See pictures below)

Left side (above)

The marks themselves were much more red than they were before, but the marks from the dermaroller had actually gone. I think that because the stretch marks had gone red, it means that they are healing, or the collagen had gone to the surface creating more blood in the skin, therefore making them heal better.

I will see what it looks like at the end of the day, to see if the marks have gone a little less red.

Day 2 and 3 of using the DermaRoller

So, I haven't had a chance to get a blog up until now, but the results are very good!

I found that the next morning, the rash had gone down a lot and was more just a red mark, like so..
This is what it looked like the next day at around 1:00pm

I found that with my skin, the mark was going down quicker and quicker as every hour passed.
Before I went to bed the morning before, I put a version of Bio Oil on it (quite a lot) and woke up the next morning to the image above.

Today though, I found that the red marks had pretty much gone!

My left hand side (above)

I am going to roll again tonight before I go to bed, and put a fair amount of Bio Oil on it, but this time I am going to wrap cling film around my middle half (covering my hips) to lock in the moisture and the bio oil also, and I will post the results on here tomorrow.

I received my DermaRoller today!

I was shocked at the professionalism of the packaging and the look of it too!
I bought this from Ebay for around £7... so I wasn't sure on the quality that I would receive.

This was the packaging it came in:

I bought the 1.5mm (As you can see it comes in many sizes)

Before I used the needles on my skin, I put some alcohol gel on the table and rolled (GENTLY) the roller in it just to clean the needles just in case. **Make sure not to bend the needles**

After that, I let it dry for about 10 minutes, then I decided to try a small section on my Arm just to see how the pain was. On my own arm, with a fair amount of pressure, it did not hurt as much as I thought it would, but then I tried it on my parents skin (52+60 years old) and they said that it was very painful. I would suggest the younger your skin, the less it will hurt.

To me it felt like having a tattoo, I have 3 tattoos so I am used to having needles in my skin, but people who have never had a tattoo, it feels like a cat scratching his nail in the same place repeatedly. The thicker your skin, the less it will hurt, and my skin is very thick, hence why it didn't hurt me!

The needles can be a little scary, but really it doesn't hurt as much as you'd expect it to!

They really aren't as scary as they seem!

I tried a little patch on my hip over a stretch mark and left it for about an hour...

This is me rolling it on my skin... You don't need to put much pressure on it, it goes into the skin easily! (It isn't as nasty as it sounds)

This is what it looked like after doing it VERY lightly over the worst points of my stretch marks, this is about an hour after I used it, the two lines that you see are because I didn't press it hard enough and only the outer needles penetrated the skin.

I then decided to try it on a larger scale:

This was straight after I had just rolled....

An Hour after I rolled on the larger scale.

I intend to roll again as soon as the red marks have gone, this way I know it has entirely healed before I make any more damage.

I will update my blog again tomorrow, to see how quickly the marks have gone down... Obviously everybody's skin is different, but I will see how it heals, and if it scabs over or anything like that!

The Day before I received my DermaRoller

I thought that I would do a little Blog on the process of the DermaRoller at home!
I will be showing pictures of the progress and describing the exact feeling that it gives.
It is as simple as that! I hope you enjoy and that this gives a lot of help to many people!

The Day before:
These are my Stretch marks that i want to be rid of...

This is on my left hip...

And this is a close up on my Left side...

The stretch marks aren't as bad on my right side, so I couldn't get a good picture. I will be using it on my right hand side, and I will show you the results.

I will recieve my DermaRoller tomorrow, i will let you know how it goes!
